Mollie Lief

An original Eladia’s Kids, Mollie grew up in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She and her brother Isaac were Eladia’s Kids when Eladia had just started a group daycare out of her home. About that time she says: “Peggy, KC and Diana were hands down our favorite babysitters, always ready with a fun project, an easy laugh and unwavering warmth. My family attended their high school productions and they attended our family parties.”

Mollie’s school career progressed on to PS 321, MS 51 and Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn. After graduating from Hampshire College, she went to Los Angeles to work in television and film. Realizing her true passion is working with children, she returned to New York last year to pursue her love of teaching. And what better place to turn to than there where it all began, Eladia’s Kids! “The Causil-Rodriguez family shines brightly in my childhood memories and I can’t be happier to be a part of their family once more!”

For six months Mollie happily worked at the Eladia’s Kids Preschool on 5th Ave, and she takes that invaluable experience with her as she pursues a degree in Theatre Education at City College. The laugh and smile she found at Eladia’s as a child herself is what she hopes to bring to children in her creative classes. Mollie is also an illustrator for the Eladia’s Kids Book Writing Team.
